The strong academic ties between Bangladesh and Germany have brought thousands of talented students, researchers, academics, and professionals from Bangladesh to Germany over the years. Having experienced German universities and research institutions first-hand, you have returned to Bangladesh and are now contributing your knowledge and expertise to the country’s development.
As alumni, you are part of a vibrant and growing community that reflects the strength of the ties between Germany and Bangladesh. Your experiences and continued engagement form an important bridge between our two societies. Whether through research collaboration, innovation, education, entrepreneurship, or cultural exchange, you continue to make a valuable contribution to our shared future.
The launch of this website marks an exciting new chapter for the alumni community in Bangladesh. I hope it will become a lively platform to connect alumni, share ideas and opportunities, showcase achievements, and encourage new partnerships. Most importantly, I hope it will inspire greater interaction and create opportunities for the next generation to benefit from the strong bonds you have helped build.
I warmly congratulate AAGUB on this initiative and wish you every success with this new digital platform. I look forward to seeing the community continue to grow, connect, and contribute to the enduring friendship between Germany and Bangladesh.

As President, I consider it a privilege to lead an organization that represents some of the finest minds in our nation: individuals who have been enriched by the world-class education and values of Germany. Each of you carries with you not only a prestigious degree but also the discipline, innovation, and critical thinking that define the German academic tradition.
Our time in Germany was more than an academic pursuit; it was a transformative journey. We learned to bridge cultures, to embrace challenges, and to think beyond boundaries. Now, back in Bangladesh, we have the unique opportunity and indeed the responsibility to translate those experiences into meaningful contributions for our beloved country.
AAGUB stands as a testament to the strength of our collective bond. We are a network of engineers, entrepreneurs, academics, doctors, civil servants, and leaders who are shaping the future of Bangladesh in diverse fields. Our unity is our greatest asset.
I firmly believe that an association is only as strong as the participation of its members. I urge each of you to actively engage with AAGUB: attend our events, share your ideas, volunteer your skills, and inspire the next generation of German alumni.
To our partners and well-wishers, we value your support and look forward to deepening our collaboration.
Together, let us build an AAGUB that is vibrant, inclusive, and impactful. Together, we rise.
With heartfelt gratitude and best wishes,
President

Whether you have just returned with a new degree or have carried the legacy of German education for decades, you belong to a remarkable family. Our shared experience in Germany: lecture halls, student dorms, even a Currywurst after a long day, has shaped us. AAGUB exists because our connection to Germany does not end when we return home. It becomes a powerful network of knowledge, opportunity, and friendship in Bangladesh.
As General Secretary, I am committed to making AAGUB a bridge to what matters most:
- Networking: Connecting alumni across engineering, business, development, academia, and beyond.
- Knowledge Exchange: Keeping German innovation and precision alive through seminars, workshops, and cultural events.
- Community: Supporting one another, celebrating successes and standing together in need.
This website is our digital home. Explore, engage, and reach out.
Not a member? Join us. Already a member? Get involved. Together, let us uphold the excellence of a German-educated graduate and build a brighter future for Bangladesh.
